The Pier has undergone quite a few changes over the past year. Since the new owners, Gough Hotels took over there is now a proud new logo for Southwold Pier, plus a host of new summery retro styled signage and a bright new coat of paint on the walls. There has been a massive transformation of the retail shopping, which now boasts some very famous names and fashionable new displays in Seaweed & Salt and a great range of trinkets and treasures in the newly named 'Treasure Chest'.
The food offering has also improved, unsurprisingly given the quality of the cuisine in Gough's two 4 star, award-winning hotels. The new menus across The Pier offer a fantastic selection to suit any time of day. Stop for a bite beside the sea in The Beach Café, enjoy a delicious cream tea or slice of pizza in The Clockhouse or dine in style across the sea and over the waves in The Boardwalk, you won't be disappointed.
