This website is operated by Southwold Pier Limited (referred to as “Southwold Pier/we/our/us). As user of this website (referred to as “you/your”) you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make (“use/using”) is subject to our terms and conditions below. The terms and conditions also provide other information that you will find useful on ordering, delivery and returns. We adhere to all current and proposed legislation in addition to trade body guidelines. The conditions detailed below do not affect your statutory rights. These include all of the current guidelines relating to the information that we hold about you and, in order to clarify this, we have a published Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove, without notice, any information on this site as necessary. This includes these terms and conditions. Any such changes will take effect when posted to this website. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

Purchase of Goods from our Website
1. Orders
All items are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock we will email you as soon as possible with the option either to cancel your order or, having told you when we can fulfil it, to wait for delivery. Products and packaging are subject to change or substitution without prior notice. Every effort will be made to despatch the items specified. Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.
If an item is out of stock we will email you with the option either to cancel your order or, having told you when we can fulfil it, to wait for delivery.
All prices of products are shown in £s sterling and include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rates, but exclude delivery charges. Then delivery charges will be displayed before you confirm your booking.
Southwold Pier has taken every care to describe items as accurately as possible; however slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of some of the goods.
Prices are subject to alteration and changes in VAT without notice. Should a product not be available a substitute of a similar product of equal or greater value may be made.
2. Delivery
This website is only for delivery of products to customers in mainland UK and Northern Ireland addresses. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.
Delivery charges are specified when you place the order. We will make every effort to keep to estimated timescales of delivery; however, delays may occasionally arise due to unforeseen factors.
Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered, or, on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
3. Methods of Payment
We accept a range of card payments, except for American Express. There will be no charge for processing card payments.
We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given.
Card details are not stored by us, on payment you will be taken to a separate secure server and the payment is then processed by PayPoint.
In the unlikely event that your payment card is used fraudulently to make a purchase with us, you, the consumer, are entitled to cancel the said payment(s). If payment has already been made, you, the customer, are entitled, in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation (2000), to a re-credit or to have all sums returned to you by the card issuer.
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
4. Returns and Cancellations
Excluding perishable items, we operate a policy for cancellation to allow you a cooling off period after placing your order. In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may cancel your order at any time without reason within 7 working days of delivery, provided that:-
- You or the recipient notifies us of your cancellation in writing/ email to the address on our "contact us" page within seven working days of delivery.
- The goods remain unused and unopened. You or the recipient retain and take reasonable care of the goods until returned.
- You return packaged item(s) to Returns at Southwold Pier to the address on the "contact us" page.
- Please be aware that you will be liable for any postage/carrier costs incurred as a result of returning items to Southwold Pier and you should ensure that you obtain proof of postage as you send it back. A refund can only be provided for items received back by us.
5. Claims
Claims for breakages or other damage must be made to Southwold Pier in writing or by email within three days of receipt.
Please advise us of any other order issues within 7 days of dispatch. We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on orders if we have not been notified within this time period.

Southwold Pier Limited does not own the properties advertised nor do they act as letting agents, they act only in a capacity of marketing the properties. Southwold Pier Limited cannot be responsible for the actions of either the owners of the properties or any other party involved in the letting of the Holiday Accommodation or any consequences resulting there from.
