Family-friendly dining inside or outside at The Boardwalk
|
The Boardwalk Restaurant is open from 10.00am everyday. Over the winter we have renovated the restaurant and put in the most fabulous new loos! There are more seats in the restaurant and a better service area for the team. The Southwold Punt(pictured) painted by East Anglian artist, James Dodds is a feature of the restaurant, as is his triptych of a Southwold Yawl. New lighting and tables have transformed the space into a really attractive eatery. Our new menu, which you can download as a PDF below, has some great seaside specials - Mussels, Salt Cod & Crab Paté and Chowder to mention just three. Open every day from 10.00am for fresh, home-cooked family fare. Enjoy coffees, teas and cakes, delicious lunches and homemade scones for a traditional cream tea. From the Easter holidays on, suppers are served from 5.00pm until last food orders at 8.30pm every evening. Please click evening to see the evening menu. So, have a great day out, feed the children early and they can sleep all the way home! Fully licenced, table service. We support many local producers who supply us with fresh meat, free range eggs, vegetables, jams and chutneys, etc. See our Suppliers page to see just how many! We always have freshly made gluten-free cakes on sale and gluten-free fish and chips are served here on the first Saturday of every month, what a treat! Do take a look at our News Pages to see when Jack Pescod, our favourite jazz pianist, is performing here again and find the links through to Jack's Facebook page and his latest albums on itunes. We reserve the right not to serve teas and cakes late in the morning and early in the afternoon as weather and loading of business dictates. |
