This weekend it’s full steam ahead for the 30th Southwold Model Railway Exhibition, held just up the road at Saint Felix School in Reydon.
The event on the 4th and 5th August is the biggest of its kind in East Anglia, full of attractions to engage the model train enthusiast. Quality layouts in all the major scales and gauges will be on display, covering many different regions and periods in time.
There will be live demonstrations to enjoy over the two days, including modelling techniques and tips, and over twenty different traders will appear at the exhibition, giving you everything you need for your layout all under one roof.
Outdoors there’ll be steam train and traction engine rides taking passengers through the grounds of Saint Felix, and a charity raffle will be held to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and East Anglian Children’s Hospices.
