There are two kinds of people who sit around thinking about how to kill people: psychopaths and crime writers. Slightly worryingly, one of these groups is coming to the east coast later this month for Slaughter in Southwold …
Happily it’s the latter, who will be arriving for the sixth iteration of this popular festival on the 16th and 17th June. People will get a chance to meet a number of globally successful authors including Mark Billingham, Sophie Hannah, Robert Goddard and Stella Rimmington at the event, which is organised by Southwold Library.
There will be talks, a murder mystery evening, a quiz night and a chance to have lunch with the authors on both days, plus a series of classic crime film double bills shown in the run up to the weekend. For more information and to book your place, visit the Slaughter in Southwold website.
