Reaching far out into the sea at the northern tip of the town, Southwold Pier is easy to find. Wherever you are in Southwold, head east to the beach and turn left to find us!
Southwold Pier is easily accessible from the A12. If you’re travelling north from London, Ipswich or Woodbridge, take the A1095 to Southwold just after Blythburgh.
If you’re heading south from Norwich or Lowestoft, follow the B1127 in from Wrentham.
Once you’re in Southwold, turn left at the mini-roundabout by the Blyth Hotel into the appropriately named Pier Avenue, which will take you to our door.
Using Sat Nav? Then pop in IP18 6BN.
The council provides a large car park to the left of the Pier which is available 24 hours a day and free parking is available from 6pm.
The local service stops just a few metres from the Pier, so you can be off the bus and have a delicious ice-cream in your hand within two minutes. For times and routes please visit https://www.border-bus.co.uk/media/docs/146_Timetable.pdf
