Here at Southwold Pier whilst we have been away, we have been busy preparing for our return and ways in which we can make our guests and teams feel as safe as possible.

We have reviewed all our procedures to ensure the safety of our guests and our teams is at the forefront of everything we do.  We might look a little different, but we are still the same on the inside.

Here are just a few of the measures that we are currently putting in place –

  • Large stocks of safety equipment available for all of our team.
  • Strict cleaning schedules for all areas.
  • Social distancing fully implemented in all areas; we like to wave at everyone for now.
  • Our staff have been trained to prevent the spread of COVID-19 prior to returning to work.
  • Food and drinks served individually and prepared under the strictest regulations.

The team are really looking forward to seeing you return to the Pier soon.

Rebecca is a Painter and Illustrator based in Norwich.  Her Art Deco style is influenced by travel and advertising posters of the 1920’s and 30’s.  Much of the Architecture she depicts is of that Era too.  Rebecca uses bright colours in a sleek stylised fashion keeping the compositions well balanced yet still very eye catching.

Rebecca combines techniques of hand painted acrylic painting and more graphic approach of adobe illustrator/ vector based drawings. Her style lends itself well to both practises.

The influence of Rebecca’s upbringing on the Suffolk Coast near Southwold is very evident within her work and is a place Rebecca continues to revisit artistically. She also has a great affinity with certain areas of London (Particularly The Underground Stations) Norfolk and The South Coast.

Bethanie is a Suffolk based artist specialising in animal sketching using a wide range of media.

As a graduate from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2010 with a BA in Fine Art, Bethanie specialises in highly detailed pencil and pen work as well as oil painting, ceramics and cement work.   Each piece of art is created to look stunning and evoke emotion.

Nina began pebble painting in the summer of 2017 as an activity with her children.  Her inspiration comes from a variety of areas and uses this to create unique, hand painted, glittered pebbles.

Her unique designs feature elements of the Suffolk Coast and Southwold and are a truly unique way to remember your visit or a perfect gift for those hard to buy for.
